Writing in Review: Favorite Stories and Personal Encouragement

Through posts this past Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, I have begun my preparations for National Novel Writing Month, or NANO, which will kick off this Friday on November 1st. I’ve shared a preview of my upcoming NANO novel, my personal writing confessions, as well as my NANO biography. Today, I want to highlight some of my “other” writings from the past year- my non-fiction journalistic writing, multimedia packages, and a poem that has special meaning to me.

Reviewing articles from the past is not about bragging. It is about personal encouragement and mentally preparing for the task that is awaits me less than 48 hours now. Knowing that I have articles that I feel are personal successes, serves as a “you got this!” message to myself and will probably come in handy about 15 days into NANO when I start to wonder “Can I really do this?” Yes. Yes, I can. I got this!
